Dufry opens Guerlain space at airports in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia and Campinas

Dufry has launched four new Guerlain spaces in its Dufry Shopping Mega Stores

Dufry has launched new Guerlain spaces in its Dufry Shopping Mega Stores located in the domestic boarding area in the airports of São Paulo (Guarulhos), Rio de Janeiro (Galeão), Brasília and Campinas (Viracopos). The products will be offered in tailored spaces, and will have up to 10 m² dedicated to the brand in each operation.

The French beauty brand celebrates its 190th anniversary this year and is one of the best known and most admired in the world.  It will bring fragrance, such as the recently launched Mon Guerlain Eau de Toilette, with the actress Angelina Jolie as its ambassador, skin care, such as the Serum Abeille Royale Serum Double R - Renew & Repair, and makeup, such as the new La Petite Robe Noire Colour'ink liquid lipstick, available in 10 shades. Completing the brand's product portfolio, Guerlain's bestseller – its world-famous Terracotta bronzing powder - will arrive in Dufry in six shades and will be available to passengers boarding at these airports.

Since 1828, the French brand Guerlain has invested in the culture of beauty with high-tech assets and high-quality women's and men's fragrances, makeup, body care and skincare products.

To consolidate its development and growth, Dufry has chosen to introduce the Guerlain brand in its stores in the main Brazilian airports. São Paulo International Airport is the largest hub in Latin America and received more than 37 million passengers in 2017, and should reach 40 million passengers in 2018. Tom Jobim International Airport in Rio de Janeiro is the second largest in the country and, in 2017, handled almost 12 million domestic passengers. The Airport of Brasilia has become the 3rd largest in Brazil in terms of passenger traffic and the largest domestic hub in the country. Last but not least, Viracopos Airport in Campinas is the second largest air cargo terminal in Brazil, behind only Guarulhos, in São Paulo, with significant investments in modernization and expansion in recent years.

Gustavo Fagundes, Dufry General Manager for Brazil and Bolivia, comments: "The opening of Guerlain spaces in our stores will offer even more high-quality products to domestic passengers, enriching the shopping experience that Dufry delivers in all of its stores. The expertise of the French brand and the quality of its products are attractive to our customers and to our operation, which are always looking for great brands offering excellent products, novelties and, above all, exclusivity. We look forward to continue to work in partnership with successful brands to ensure the development of the strategy focused on our customers."
